To our patients at Youthology,
The safety of our patients and staff remains my number one priority. This includes continuing education of staff with regard to hand hygiene, sterile processing of all instrumentation, as well as participation with the Texas Patient Safety Commission. In light of the recent Coronavirus pandemic, we have instituted additional disinfectant procedures to assure the safety of patients and staff alike. As a relatively small specialty, there are typically no more than 15 total persons in the office at any one time.
We will monitor the health of all staff and should any of us come in contact with another person suspected or confirmed to have contracted Covid-19 OR have any symptoms of fever, cough, shortness of breath, malaise, etc., they will stay at home and contact their medical provider for guidance. I ask that all patients to do the same and notify us if you find it necessary to reschedule your appointment. It is important to remember that the vast majority of persons infected with this virus will have either no symptoms or a mild, flu-like illness leading to complete recovery.
This is a time to take a deep breath and DON’T PANIC as we will get through this time of uncertainty and resume “normal” life. In the meantime, wash your hands frequently and take all the CDC recommended precautions to limit potential exposure.
We will continue to monitor the situation closely and notify you should any changes in our operations be necessary. Stay well and stay positive!!!
